Mentoring/
Supervision for
Creative Arts Therapist

When you need guidance…

Once dedicated to the path of becoming a therapist, challenges may arise leaving students and therapists frustrated with having to manage the feelings of others as well as their own.

Whether it be navigating client cases or acquiring hours of supervision to obtain LCAT credentials, the path takes effort and perseverance. As a NY-state licensed creative arts therapist, I offer students and therapists the option of receiving supervision hours and mentoring to clarify goals and receive thoughtful feedback regarding clinical caseloads.

This opportunity allows the space to recharge and enter back into the field feeling full and readily able to give back to others. The work of a therapist often leads to feelings of fatigue, depletion, or burn out.

It is imperative that as a community we lean on one another as a source of support and healing, so we can better serve our clientele.

Creative Arts Therapy can help you through your training, too.

Creative arts therapy techniques are applied during sessions to gain a deeper insight into how countertransference and transference affects the work we do as well as how we function in everyday life. From this work, we can identify the issues which often deplete therapists, blocking the therapists’ abilities to clearly conceptualize what is preventing optimal success to forming treatment goals.

Together, we will discover a healthy balance that not only helps you to serve clients appropriately, but also refuels you to be the best version of yourself.
